One of the services reached peak load, causing the app to be irresponsive. By scaling up our service, the service was restored to normal functionality.
Reports came in from our customers confirming that the actions taken by the team resolved the issue and that both the Mapiq App and the Mapiq Admin Portal are available again.

Our team has looked into the problem with our services and performed mitigation actions. The Mapiq App (app.mapiq.com and admin.mapiq.com) are available once more. Our services will be monitored for the time being. Users can use Mapiq again.

This morning when starting up we noticed that the Mapiq App and Admin portal (app.mapiq.com and admin.mapiq.com respectively) are facing problems. After signing in, users face a spinner indicating that the app is loading. Unfortunately, the app and the service do not become available and the user keeps seeing the spinner. In rare cases some users might load into the app but have limited functionality.
We are currently investigating the cause of the issue, and will keep you posted with updates through this article.
