The Check-Ins Report is a valuable tool that allows you to confirm whether your employees are genuinely coming to the office. While a booking indicates their intention, a check-in provides solid confirmation. Please explore our Manual Check-In and Automatic Check-In articles to learn more about check-in options.

You can apply the following filters to refine your report:

Where is it most busy?

Booked Workspaces vs. Check-Ins per Location

This graph compares the number of workspace bookings to the actual check-ins for those bookings. It's essential to understand that if someone checks in without a booking, they'll be prompted to make one. Since check-ins occur at the building level, it's assumed that a person with a booking will go to their initially booked location when they check in. The line plot displays the total capacity of workspaces for each location.

The bars in the graph represent the total number of bookings per date, while the line displays the total number of check-ins per date. You can easily compare bookings and check-in events by overlaying the line on the bars. The week length depends on the Week Length filter; it will include all seven days (Saturday and Sunday included) if the filter is set to 7 days. A Week Length of 5 days will display the workweek.

Booked Workspaces vs. Check-Ins Per Day of the Week

Similar to the graph described above, this one compares average bookings and check-ins per day of the week. The days displayed in the graph depend on the Week Length filter, which can be set to 5 or 7 days.

πŸ’‘ When the Area view is selected in the graph, it shows all areas across all buildings. You can refine the visualization and comparison by using the filters on the right side to choose a specific building or floor.

Check-Ins & Check-Outs Per Hour

With the Check-In feature, you can also log check-out events. Check-outs occur when employees leave the office for the day or go out for lunch which can be manual or automatic, depending on the setup. This graph displays the average number of check-ins compared to the average number of check-outs per hour of the day. Check-ins and check-outs are counted within the hour; for example, if someone checks in or out at 9:29 AM and another at 9:41 AM, the graph will show two check-ins or check-outs at 9:00 AM. The average is calculated based on the active filters.

Check-Ins Per Time of Day

In contrast to the Check-Ins and Check-Outs per Time of the Day graph, this graph shows the cumulative number of people who have checked in and checked out. Each check-in is counted as +1, and each check-out is counted as -1. The displayed number represents the average over the selected period. For instance, 95 check-ins at 8:00 AM and 155 at 9:00 AM indicate that 60 people checked in during that hour. The aggregation method is the same as in the Check-Ins and Check-Outs per Time of the Day graph.
