Find your colleagues opens up Mapiq so you can find any colleague, not just your connections. See who is in the building today, check when a coworker plans to come in, and pick a desk near the people you want to work with. Your admin decides whether it's switched on for your organization, and it stays off until they do.

The People tab in Find lists everyone with a desk booked today in the building you've selected. Your current floor is open, and other floors are collapsed with a count of people. Each person's photo appears on their desk on the map, so you can see at a glance who sits where.

Who appears depends on your organization's setting. With Only their connections, you see yourself, your connections and your group members. With All employees, you see everyone with a desk today.

One search box on the Find tab finds people, rooms, desks, areas and facilities. Pick a result and it shows on the map, on the right floor. If the person you pick doesn't have a desk in this building today, you see their details without a spot on the map.

Tap a person to see their day in one place: their bookings for today, whether they've checked in, a Connect button, and a link to their full schedule.

• Off by default — Schedule visibility starts on Only their connections. Nothing changes until an admin switches to All employees. The setting applies to every building. You can't set it per building.

• No individual opt-out — Employees can't hide themselves. Either everyone is visible, or the connections rule applies to everyone.

• Guests are never visible — Guests and people from other organizations never show up, whatever the setting.

• Hidden data never reaches the app — Mapiq checks the setting on its servers. The app doesn't receive any information about people you aren't allowed to see.

• Full schedule or nothing — You see someone's whole schedule or none of it. There's no partial view.

• Saving other settings is safe — Saving another part of the settings page doesn't change Schedule visibility, so two admins can't undo each other's choice by accident.
