There could be several reasons why you are not able to log in to Mapiq. In this article we discuss the most common causes on why you are not able to log in to Mapiq and what you can do to solve this issue.

This means that the domain is not recognized as a domain used to sign in to Mapiq. With a domain we are talking about the part what comes after the @ sign in your email address. For example '@example.com' is considered a domain. Double-check with colleagues to understand what domain can be used. If still unable to access reach out to Mapiq support.

Get in touch with Mapiq support, please share any other old email addresses you might have used within your organization. It could be that your browser is trying to automatically log you in with a different account/stored password.
What can I do in the meantime?
There are some tricks that can solve a big portion of the log in issue. You can try these yourself when you are waiting for a response of your IT team or Mapiq Support.
Try to log in on an incognito browser
As already mentioned it can happen that your browser tries to log you in with a different account, for example an old Outlook account. This should start a fresh browser session.
Delete the cookies and cache data of your preferred browser.
This ensures that you will be logged out everywhere in your preferred browser. To make sure there is not a different account trying to log in to Mapiq.
These are the steps to see or change your preferred browser on Android or iOS.
For Android
Open the Settings app on your Android smartphone.
From there, tap on the Apps tab.
Now select Default apps.
Tap on Browser app.
From here, choose your selected web browser from the ones that you've downloaded from the Google Play Store and you're good to go.
Alternatively, you can access this setting by visiting Settings > Apps & Notifications > Advanced > Default Apps.
For iOS
Open the Settings App: Go to the Settings app on your iPhone and tap.
Scroll Down and Find Your Browser: Scroll down in the settings until you see the name of the browser app you installed (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
Tap on the Browser Name: This will open up the settings for that browser app.
Select “Default Browser App”: Look for the option labeled “Default Browser App” and tap.
Choose Your New Default Browser: You should see a list of all the browsers on your iPhone. Tap on the one you want to be your default.
