Once your parking lot is set up in Mapiq, zones let you take the experience a step further. Rather than treating all spots as equal, zones allow you to designate specific areas within a lot, like electric vehicle charging spots, valet parking, or spaces reserved for particular groups. This gives employees clarity on where to book, while you stay in control of access and capacity per zone.
Creating a Parking Zone
Go to admin portal by putting admin.mapiq.com in the URL.
Go to
Parkingin the navigation bar. (If you already have a parking lot go to step 4)Press
+ Add parking lotbutton to add a new parking lot in Mapiq.Add a new parking zone by pressing the
+ Add a zonebutton.Give this zone a name and add the capacity of the parking zone.
Once you are done, publish the parking lot!
