When you try to book a new workspace on app.mapiq.com or the Mapiq app by pressing on the 'office icon' in the 'Plan' section, two things are taken in to account. The first thing is what area you have selected in your booking preferences and the second thing is which desk you have worked on previously if desk booking is allowed in that area.
Because you are not able to permanently claim a desk, there is always a possibility that a colleague has booked your 'favorite' desk before you. If this is the case, Mapiq will search for a different desk on your preferred area.
Unfortunately Mapiq is not able to remove someone who has booked a specific desk and is not able to give other people priorities for booking a certain desk.
