When first accessing Mapiq, you need to set your booking preferences during an onboarding flow. Over time, working with Mapiq and changing personal needs within the office can lead to booking preferences that no longer match. Let's adjust it!
Adjusting your Booking preferences
Your booking preferences are easily adjusted via your profile. You can update your prefered locations as well as the setting to book automatically or manually. More on this in the Setting your booking preferences article.
To adjust your preferences, follow the steps below.
Sign in to https://app.mapiq.com.
Navigate to Your Profile >> Booking preferences.
Adjust your booking preferences accordingly. An overview of the adjustable fields can be found in the table below.
Field | Description |
Office | Update your preferred office. Since workspaces and parking lots are linked to your chosen office, updating the preferred office means you must also update the other fields. |
Parking lot | Update your preferred parking lot. Changing this means you must also update your parking zone preference. This is only available in case there are parking lots available in Mapiq. If there is only one parking lot, that will automatically be selected. |
Parking zone | Change the specific parking zone within your preferred parking lot. This is the zone in which your parking reservation will automatically be made when you need it. |
Workspace (floor) | Your floor preference is adjusted. This has an impact on the workspace area preference as it's a child of the floor. |
Workspace (area) | Your area preference is adjusted. This has an impact on your desk amenities, as amenities are area/desk specific. |
Automatic workspace booking | Allows you to adjust your booking behavior from automatic to manual. Refer to the Setting your booking preferences article for more information on how your choice impacts this behavior as well! |
Desk amenities | Adjusts the preferences of amenities (or equipment) available in the workspace area taken into consideration when automatically booking a workspace for you. Depending on the chosen workspace area, specific amenities could be made unavailable. |
