Connections is your gateway to better collaboration at work. This feature lets you see where your colleagues are working from, helping you coordinate your office days and collaborate more effectively. Whether you're planning your week, booking a workspace, or joining a meeting, Connections keeps you in the loop about who's working where.
With Connections, you can share your weekly schedule with colleagues, and see at a glance who's attending meetings remotely or in person. It's designed to bridge the gap between remote and in-office work, making hybrid work coordination effortless.
Your Home tab overview
Your Home tab displays a shortlist of all your connections, giving you quick insight into their workday plans. You'll see their booked workday or workspace, the specific time slots they've reserved, and if they've booked a workspace, a map icon that opens a visualization showing exactly where they'll be.
Planning your week
The Plan tab is where Connections really shines for coordination. You'll find your connections in three key places.
Week overview
Connections appear with their profile pictures on the days they've booked into an office. If more colleagues are coming in on a specific day, their profiles merge into a single indicator showing you exactly how many connections will be around.
Day overview
When you've booked an office day, all connections at the same office appear at the top of your workday view. If you've chosen a different location, they're displayed under your workday with a reference to where they'll be working from.
Booking flows
As you book your own space, you'll see who's working where. This makes it easy to book a spot near colleagues you want to collaborate with or simply be near your favorite connections.
Meeting insights
Within your Plan tab, the meeting overview shows you a summary of whether connections will attend from the office or join remotely. This helps you decide whether it makes sense to come into the office for that important meeting or join from home.
Finding workspaces together
The Workspaces section on your Find tab brings connections to life on both the map and list views. The list gives you a real-time snapshot of which connections are currently present based on their time slot bookings. If someone booked a morning slot and you're checking in the afternoon, they won't appear in the current view.
Dive deeper by selecting a specific area to see all your connections who've made bookings there. If workspace booking allows for desk selection, your connections' profile pictures appear directly on their chosen desks, respecting their time slot bookings.
Managing your connections
The Connect tab is your control center for the Connections feature. Here you can add new connections using the dedicated search functionality or browse through suggested colleagues. You'll see an overview of all your connected colleagues and any pending invites. This is where you're in complete control to add, delete, accept, or reject connection requests.
Suggested connections appear once you've created at least two connections and have made a booking in the past month. These suggestions are based on your existing connections who are also active users.
Staying notified
Your Notifications tab keeps you updated when someone sends you a connection request. You'll receive an in-app notification that lets you quickly accept or decline.
Check-in visibility
If your organization uses the check-in functionality, you'll see an extra layer of information. When connections check in, a solid green disc appears next to their profile picture across most views. This real-time indicator helps you know who's actually in the office right now, not just who planned to be there.
Behind the scenes
Connection requests must be accepted before you can see your colleagues' bookings throughout the app. You don't need to be connected with someone to invite them for a group booking, though.
Rejected connection requests remain in the Sent requests section temporarily before being silently removed, giving you time to reconsider if needed.
