Mapiq Groups makes it easy to coordinate office days with your team. By creating a group, you and your colleagues can share workspace booking locations and see who's planning to be in the office. This helps teams stay connected and plan their in-office time together.
Groups are consent-based, so members choose to join and can leave anytime. Any user can create a group, customize it with an avatar, and invite up to 30 colleagues. All confirmed members have equal rights to manage the group.
Creating a new Group
Sign in to Mapiq and navigate to the
Connecttab.At the top of the page you can find the
Groupssection, in case you are not yet part of any group, the buttonCreate group +is displayed, click it to create a Group. If you are already part of a group you can press the+icon to start the Group creation flow.Give a unique name to your group and select an avatar, click on
Next.In this step you can add more people to your group by searching on their name or email address. After selecting all your group members click on
Done.Congratulations! Your Group is created and is ready for use. The new group is now visible under the
Groupssection and the counter is increased by 1.
⚠️The group capacity will only show members that have accepted the group invitation, so upon creation your group will always show 1 member.
Behind the scenes
Group invitations: Invited colleagues receive notifications and can accept, decline, or ignore the invitation. Pending invitations remain active for 1 month.
Group size: You can invite up to 30 people when creating a group, and you can create unlimited groups.
Group membership: Creating a group doesn't automatically add members as connections. Members must accept invitations to join.
Equal rights: All confirmed members can manage the group equally, including inviting others, removing members, or deleting the group.
