Not all badge data is created equal. Access control systems log every swipe like test events, contractors, shared badges, multiple readers on the same door. None of which necessarily reflect a real workplace visit. Left unfiltered, that raw data skews your Office Attendance numbers before you even start analyzing them.
Another reason you might need to revisit your dataset is due to the used privacy settings. If you imported data using Fully anonymous to get a quick feel for the importer, you may now want to re-import with Keep department info or Keep personal data to unlock deeper insights. Each level unlocks different filters and breakdowns

Behind the scenes
Delete or download files β You can at any given moment delete a file to remove the data, or download it to verify its content.
Overlapping date ranges β If you upload a file with overlapping date ranges, depending on the privacy setting, Mapiq will skip any duplicates ensuring you'll always have a full picture.
Full audit trail β All past imports are logged in an audit table on the Badge access page, showing filename, who imported the data, the date, privacy setting, and status.
Processed data only β We store the processed data in Mapiq, the source file is never saved in Mapiq.
