Once you've created a parking lot with the correct capacity and enabled users to book parking spots, Mapiq also allows administrators to manage which locations users can book and the number of times they can reserve a parking spot.
Parking Booking Quota
Parking quotas can be set individually but depend on the user's booking quota. A parking spot can only be reserved when an office spot is booked. The parking reservation option will be greyed out if a user has not booked an office spot. To ensure a seamless experience, it's recommended to match your parking quota with your booking quota.
Creating a Parking Quota Profile
Parking quota profiles function similarly to default quota profiles, with the main difference being that Parking quota profiles only specify the weekly parking quota. The Workspace quota profile dictates the booking window and days available for parking spot reservations.
To create a Parking quota profile, follow these steps:
Go to Access >> Quota profiles >> Parking quota profiles.
Select "Edit" >> "+ Add Profile."
Assign a suitable name for the profile and set the desired "Week quota" from the dropdown menu.
Press "Save" >> "Save" to confirm the addition of the new profile.
