Users can begin reserving spots as needed once your parking lot and associated profiles are entirely set up. As an administrator, we provide insights into each user's parking reservations. The parking overview displays the date, parking lot, and zone for each user's reservation.
Parking Reservation Overview
The parking reservation overview offers a clear, at-a-glance view of all parking reservations. Depending on your admin role, you can export and delete reservations. You can use the available filters and search functions to refine the displayed information. The parking reservation overview shares a tab with bookings. To access the correct overview, navigate to Bookings >> Parking spots.
Data Retention
Parking reservations and workspace bookings share the same tab, as well as the same data retention period. The retention period determines how long Mapiq stores user data in their database and how long parking reservations are available on the Mapiq Public API.
To set the desired retention period, follow these steps:
Go to Settings >> General;
Click on "Edit" and scroll down until you see Privacy.
Drag the slider under Shift data retention period (in days) to your preferred duration.
In this example, parking reservations are visible for one month (30 days) in the past through both the Admin Portal and the Mapiq Public API.
