Setup your personal External calendar feed

Free your Mapiq schedule from Mapiq. External calendar feed mirrors your bookings into any personal or work calendar, so you never have to juggle two schedules again. Your day view already shows exactly where you'll be, right next to every meeting and appointment you've already got planned. One glance, and your whole day makes sense.

Open your Profile and look for the External calendar feed card. From here you can generate a personal feed and connect it to any calendar client you use, at home or at work.

Three ways to connect

The card gives you three options. Each one serves a different purpose.

  • Subscribe : opens your default calendar client and adds the Mapiq feed link for you. Once it's added, your calendar keeps itself up to date on its own. New bookings, changes, and cancelled slots all show up without you lifting a finger.

  • Copy URL : puts the feed link on your clipboard so you can paste it into a calendar client yourself. Use this option when the automatic Subscribe flow doesn't work with your setup, for example if your client isn't the system default.

  • Rotate link : swaps your current feed link for a new one. This breaks the old link right away. Use it if you want a feed to stop updating, for instance after pasting the URL somewhere you no longer trust.

💡 Most calendar apps have an option like "Add calendar by URL" or "Subscribe from web", that's where the copied link goes.

Connect as many calendars as you like

There's no limit on how many calendars you link to your Mapiq feed. Generate the link once and subscribe from your phone, your laptop, and your work calendar alike. Every connected calendar gets the same updates.

Behind the scenes

  • It's a personal ICS link — The link behind Subscribe and Copy URL is a standard ICS feed, tied to you. Any calendar client that supports subscribing to a URL can read it.

  • Your feed covers both bookings and workdays — The feed shows your workspace bookings, such as a desk booking, alongside your set workdays, so your calendar reflects your full Mapiq schedule in one place.

  • The feed only flows one way — The External calendar feed pushes your Mapiq working days out to your personal or work calendar. It doesn't pull anything back into Mapiq. If you want events from your work calendar to show up in Mapiq instead, take a look at Sync Your Work Calendar with Mapiq.

  • Rotating the link can't be undone — Once you rotate, the old link stops working everywhere it's been added, on every device. You'll need to subscribe or copy the new link again on each calendar.
