Adding Facilities

Mapiq allows you to create your building on a digital platform. An exact configuration of your building makes a representative digital model which helps your employees to find a suitable working spot in a matter of seconds.

Add facilities to the map

For further detailing of your map, you can opt for adding facilities to your map. A predefined set of facilities are available to you.

Follow these steps to add facilities to your map:

  1. In the map editor, click "Facilities" and directly draw the area on the floor plan.

  2. You can add properties to the added facility in the property window on the right. Give the facility a proper Name, Type, and rendering style from the dropdown menu (Enclosed or Open).

  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for all the facilities you want to add.

⚠️ Remember that the icon associated with the chosen Type is visible on the floor plan for the end users.

Removing facilities from the map

Making adjustments within your building is very easy, and the same goes for removing facilities already added to the map.

Follow these steps to remove facilities from the map:

  1. Open the map editor for the affected floor plan.

  2. Select the facility you wish to remove and press "Delete facility" at the bottom of the menu.

  3. Confirm the deletion in the pop-up that appears.
