Exporting Bookings

Updated over a week ago

The Bookings tab gives admins a full overview of workspace and parking reservations across your environment. Once you've applied filters to narrow down the data (by date range, location, or booking type) you can export that view directly as a .csv-file. This makes it easy to analyze booking trends, audit usage, or share data with stakeholders outside of Mapiq.

Export booking data from the Bookings tab

  1. Go to the Bookings tab.

  2. Select the date range if you want to select multiple days.

  3. Set the filters to adjust your view of the booking data.

  4. Press Export in the top right corner to create a .csv file of the current view.

Behind the scenes

  • Export scope follows your active filters β€” if no filters are set, the export includes all bookings visible in the current date range. Check your filters before exporting to avoid unexpectedly large files.

  • Workspace and parking bookings are exported separately β€” each export reflects the booking type currently in view. Switch between types before exporting if you need both datasets.

  • Timestamps in the export use UTC β€” convert to your local timezone when reporting to stakeholders in different regions.

  • Export size is not limited by the UI pagination β€” the .csv includes all matching records, not just what's visible on screen.

Tip! The Text to columns feature in Excel makes it very easy to turn raw data into readable data.
