Mapiq helps you see when your colleagues are in the office and streamlines your workday by allowing you to book a parking spot. This ensures you have a place even before arriving at the office.
🚨The parking functionality is an add-on to the Mapiq App. Depending on your organization's contract with Mapiq, this feature may not be available within the app!
How to Make a Parking Reservation?
Administrators can create parking lots within the Mapiq environment and set their capacity. As an employee, to make a parking reservation, follow these steps:
Select a day to open your day overview.
Complete the normal booking flow and book a workday or workspace.
After booking a workday or workspace, click "Book a parking spot."
⚠️ Your parking quota may be different from your workspace quota. If you're only allowed to make a workspace booking twice a week, you can only book a parking spot twice a week, regardless of your parking quota. You can only book a parking spot if you have booked a workday in the office. Note that when you book a workday, the workspace quota is not impacted, but the parking quota is impacted.Select the parking lot from the list available and, if applicable, the desired zone within the parking lot.
Confirm your booking to complete your parking reservation.
Parking Availability
There may be limitations that affect parking availability:
A parking spot is only bookable when it is linked to a building. If there's no parking lot available in the facility where you booked a workday, the button for making a parking reservation will be grayed out.
Administrators within your environment can set access to parking lots and potentially the underlying zones for users. If your colleague books an electric car spot, it doesn't automatically mean you can either. Please contact your local Mapiq administrator(s) or facility manager to adjust this.
You have a parking reservation quota, and your administrators set this quota. If you've used up your quota, you won't be allowed to make another parking booking for the rest of the week.
Parking quota depends on your booking quota. If your workspace quota is less than your parking quota, you are still limited to the number of workspace quotas. Without a spot at the office, a parking booking is possible.
